Event
Weekend Schedule
Note: All times below are in New Orleans local time (CT).
The Rehearsal
Fri 10/30 · 5 – 6:30 PM
Ceremony participants should gather promptly at 5:00 PM at The Lanaux's Marigny Courtyard for a closed rehearsal — to keep the ceremony run-through on schedule, we'd love just the grooms' parents, Best Boys, Flower Kids, Ring Bearers, and Officiant to join us.
We'll aim to wrap with enough time for you to meet up with any non-ceremony guests for the leisurely 15-minute walk to the welcome reception.
The Welcome
Fri 10/30 · 7 – 9 PM
Join us at the iconic — and famously haunted — Pat O'Brien's Courtyard Restaurant in the French Quarter on Friday, October 30. In the 1940s, they invented the Hurricane cocktail (which we adore), and it's been a New Orleans institution ever since.
This will be a casual social reception in the Briars Suite from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with ample bites and drinks. Feel free to dress nicely, but this is not a seated dinner or formal event.
Pat O'Brien's
Briars Suite, 2nd floor
624 Bourbon Street
New Orleans, LA 70130
Be aware that there are multiple entrances to the Pat O'Brien's complex, but you'll just take the short, scenic route through the courtyard if approaching from Rue Saint Peter.
The Night
Sat 10/31 · 6:30 PM – midnight
We're dying to kick off the main event with you as the sun sets on Saturday, October 31.
Your arrival to the venue is welcome from 6:30 to 7:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly thereafter, with a reception — and a little mischief — to follow.
The evening will be adults-only, so please arrange childcare accordingly.

Ceremony Details
The Venue
We'll gather at The Lanaux Mansion, an 1879 landmark whose iron balconies and shadowed parlors have graced the silver screen. You'll find it just outside the revelry of the French Quarter, within earshot of the jazz on Frenchmen Street.

547 Esplanade Avenue

Fun fact: The chandeliers in the Lanaux's dining room are from Anne Rice's former New Orleans mansion!
The Attire
Dress to kill…
Fashionable cocktail attire, primarily in morose shades like black and dark reds work great. Gothic details and accessories are highly encouraged — but no masks or costumes, please!
For a closer look at the mood we're after, review our attire vision board.
